As discussed with Amit Thorve, in case of employee's status change (i.e. Terminated or retired) in OE, termination date rule must be applied for termination of an active enrollments.
And as discussed earlier, if in OE effective date of enrollment and employee data change date is same then enrollment must be set as dead (terminated as never effective).

We have started implementing code change for this change request. Following are the files where where we need to make code change in some core routines

• CorePlanAllocation.vb
• Employee.vb
• EmployeeData.vb
• Employee_Enrollment.vb
• Import related routines of terminate elections

And following are the impacted areas

• Core plan allocation
• Enroll Now
• Terminate employee election screens
• Pending Queue (accept/reject scenarios)
• Pending EOI (accept/reject scenarios)
• Termination date rule(s)
• OE Mode
• Self serve mode

All the above impacted areas need to test using following screens with retro, current and future date scenarios

• Enroll now
• Employee data (like - Demographics, Dependent Demographics)
• Terminate employee elections
• Import module
• SA utility
