Hello Jyoti Mayne,

Following are three issues mentioned by Michelle Parker
1.While adding EE and his dependents there is a server error.
2.EE Name: Josue Aguilar not appearing in Recalculate rates list.
3.Life Insurance and LTD Plans not getting auto enrolled for newly added employees.

Below are our observations on above issues:

1. While adding employee we get server error(refer the error log comment from Sheetal above) but the employee gets added, same thing for the dependents while adding spouse/child we get server error but the dependents gets added into the system.

We also tried login as a employee>> gets self service mode/Tunnel and on demographics page we get server error and hence we cannot proceed further. on error log we saw that changes has been added to the system.

2. In SA Utility>> Recalculate Rates>> Rate-Life Insurance >> Plan design-Life Insurance 2

The EE name " Josue Aguilar" is not appearing in the list. The EE is eligible for "Life Insurance" rate and the plan "Life Insurance 2" is auto enrolled to the EE.

3. LTD and Life Insurance Plans not getting Auto Enrolled. The Test EE is Eligible for Life Insurance and LTD Plans and is not getting the plans when added into the system.

Please find following details:

Concern: On add employee server error is coming

Cause: This is because there were duplicate age band for subrate present for following two rates.

Rate Name	Sub rate Name	Duplicate Age Band	Screen Shot
LTD	Voluntary LTD	0-99
Life	Life Insurance	0-150

Correction: We have removed these duplicate rate band on Production and Stage. No server error is coming.

From sub rate screen it is not possible to add duplicate/overlapping age bands. It seems that from cloning functionality/OE setup Utility, duplicate age band for sub rate are getting added. Please confirm this.

Issue #2: Core plan is not getting allocated to employees

This is because after adding employee details, employee data change routine gets called and later Core Plan Allocation routine gets called. As there was error coming in employee data change routine, Core Plan Allocation routine was not executed and employee didn't got core plan.
Now this is fixed with the removal of duplicate/overlap age band sub rates.

Issue #3: .EE Name: Josue Aguilar not appearing in Recalculate rates list.

This employee got $0 coverage because on plan maximum coverage is set in following way for 'Life Insurance 2' plan.

Please remove 0 Times Annual Compensation from all following plans. Otherwise employees who will enroll in following plan will always get $0 as coverage and rate.

Verified on Stage and Production:
We have verified below scenario :
1)Add new emp to system - employee gets added
2)Added spouse and dependents to system - spouse and dependents gets added
3) Life And LTD plans auto enrolled to employee correctly :
4)Created rate for LIFE and LTD - When Age band is duplicate say 0- 99, 0- 20 and coverage amount is blank- system shows pop " Value already present "
-And when Age band is duplicate say 0-99, 0-20 and coverage amount is different for both age band then system allows to add age band.
-Cloned the core plan and and mapped to rate, added employee who is eligible and employee got auto enrolled in core plan.
-Validation of duplicate Age band in sub rate we are testing it at out end to avoid future discrepancy.
We are still working that how system allowed to add duplicate age band by checking through back-end or else we will have to check it by OE setup utility

Hello Debbie Kulling,

The server errors due to overlapping age bands in the Rates is solved on City of West Covina Production now - by deleting the overlapped age bands from the respective rates.

We have also reproduced the issue and found out in what way system is allowing to have these overlapping age bands in the rates (issue is with import rate)
Fix for the cause of this issue will be getting tracked with WT-8981 (separate new JIRA)

Hence - You can close this JIRA if everything working fine for you.
