Verified below scenario :
1.Special characters < > & | - Not allowing for text box
2. PIPE | and Tild ~ characters not save, it throws server error for PIPE | and Tild ~ will not save.
3.Through import - Allowing all characters except ; xp_ '
4.Employee workflow went fine, but in import when & is given - Import is done propely, but when we traverse workflow system shows validation for &
5 for ~ changes will not saved
6. EE workflow went fine when other special characters are added in User defined field with import and UI.
7.For TextArea - Allowing all special character through UI except Pipe and tild

These special character changes are reverted from Azure. This patch is already has been reverted from LB, Stage and Production.
Please verify it at Azure.
