Employee Kate Marshall uploaded her dependents birth certificate however, it is not viewable. She uploaded her Marriage License which was successful.
Please check to determine why the second upload (birth certificate) is not viewable.

We have scanned all the employee documents but for the given employee 'Kate Marshall' we found only one document that is,marshall newman marriage certificate.pdf.
We could not find the birth certificate in the uploaded documents.
Could you please ask the employee to upload the birth certificate.

Please see attached screen shots. When I go to work terra, than upload documents, and pending queue and reviewing employee document. The pending queue shows the birth certificate, which does not open. Can you advise how we can resolve this issue? Thank you in advance.

When the employee uploads document they are saved in the file server .
So we checked for the mentioned employee 'Kate Marshall',we found that there is only one document for this employee and that is 'marshall newman marriage certificate.pdf'.
There is no document for birth certificate.
So when we click on 'marshall newman marriage certificate.pdf' it is viewable and when we click on birth certificate it shows 'File not found'.
The records in Pending Queue for the birth certificate are invalid.
So we have deleted the invalid records.
Please ask the employee to Upload the Birth Certificate.

We are having several users who have uploaded documents, but when the admins of the company have tried to view them they receive a message that says "file not found", even when they can see and clock on a link to the supposed document.
I tried to upload documents onto my test employee "mtest666666666" and I couldn't even add the document. Please review the upload section for documents and ensure we can upload documents and view them. Thank you.

We have tried to reproduce the above issue on production UND for HSPL
1)Added am employee TestEmp .
2)Raised Qualifying Event and Uploaded Document through Raised QE.
3)Verified through Pending Queue,we were able to view the uploaded documents.

We try to reproduce the issue at our end using "UND For HSPL", but it is not reproducible. We tried below scenarios:
1] Add new employee, traverse new hire mode and upload different documents (.pdf, .docx, .txt) through Upload documents tab.
2] Raise OE for Child birth/Adoption and for marriage, uploaded different documents (.pdf, .docx, .txt).
We are able to upload the documents without any error using above scenarios.
Also we tried to view/download the uploaded documents using partner and company admin logins in different browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome), we are able to view/download the documents without any error through "Review Employee Documents" and "Pending Queue" tab.
Please let us know if you have any other inputs which helps us to reproduce the issue.

1) I have checked this for different browsers and different document types. Its working fine and files are getting downloaded.
2) Also, for mentioned employee, as of now there are 6 documents and those are getting downloaded successfully.

Scenario : Employee logs in with SSO login. He uploads a document. In this case, entry gets inserted in database table , but document is not uploaded on file server. When partner logs in and goes to employee documents, he can see
Also, above mentioned employee did upload documents on 25th oct as i attached screenshot. So, this scenario may be intermittent.

I cannot see the files. I also receive the FILE NOT FOUND error message. It is happening for them for multiple employees' files.

On Production (UND for HSPL) - tried uploading various files for employees through upload employee documents (various file format, naming convention, browsers & enrollment modes). I could successfully upload and download them every time.
When I tried searching further, I found one more employee from UND Production 'Xiaobo Hu' - for whom a document has been uploaded recently '10/1/26/2016'.
When I am trying to download the same - I am getting the same Server Error - this is the same error we are trying to reproduce.
Hence, can we take this employee's example and backtrack why the files are not getting downloaded ?
We might need to look into below cases -
- After uploading files - are they getting uploaded on file servers properly ?
- All web servers has the same document the one which has been just got uploaded on file server ?
- When user is requesting to download file - do the sever has the file present (File / All Web) if not Why ?
This might help us to know the root cause.

Can I please have an update? This is effecting multiple employees' records and uploads. Many (all?) are FILE NOT FOUND.

We checked below cases -
1. After uploading files - are they getting uploaded on file servers properly ?
Files are properly uploaded on file server.
2. All web servers has the same document the one which has been just got uploaded on file server ?
It is not uploaded on all 3 web servers. It is uploaded on only 1 web server and it is uploading files properly.
3. When user is requesting to download file - do the sever has the file present (File / All Web) if not why?
It is properly saved on file server and into database. While downloading the file,it gets downloaded from file server.
This is non reproducible issue.

As mentioned in my earlier comments, issue still persists for few existing employees (for example - Xiaobo Hu ) - refer attached screen shot.
Right now, if employee uploads the documents - those can be downloaded.
But for existing employees (like Xiaobo Hu ) - we need to scan for all employees records facing the File Not Found error - and advice client accordingly, so as for now at least for existing employees - system will allow an user to download their uploaded documents.

Can we please check for how many employees files are not present in server. Vijayendra has got one script for checking wrong company ID in database, that can also be scanned once.
For missing documents it would be good if we try to scan that on stage file server as well. Please schedule this.

The employees individually uploaded their documents, so the client does not have them to re-do. That is the issue here. They need those documents to approve the coverages. Can you identify the 3cs for this? Is it now corrected? How was it corrected? They will need to reach out to these employees and have them bring back their documents for review, so this is an important issue to make sure we resolved for going forward. Swapnil Pandhare

UND is again experiencing this issue. Documents have been uploaded for the following and FILE UNKNOWN is the error message. We have to get this corrected for good.

Concern: File not found issue
Cause: It is saving file properly in database but while downloading that file,it fetching file from wrong location.
Correction:We have corrected the path and deployed on stage and production.

The client said that all documents are still showing as file not found. Here were the employees that they checked:

Micki Kidder- Micki uploaded a file (Kidder Insurance Card) and it is showing as file not found. Amber reached out to her, and sent that same document to Amber. Amber then uploaded it (Kidder Insurance Card Proof), and they are able to view it with no issues. Maybe that could help to figure out what the issue still is.
This has been a consistent issue causing multiple problems for this client. I'm upgrading the ticket to high.

We are able to reproduce the issue on Production. Following are steps to reproduce.
1] Login as a employee, upload a document from "Upload Documents" section. (Do not save)
2] Click on Uploaded document link.
3] Click on "Save" button.
4] Click on "View Uploaded Document(s)" link.
5] Try to view the document by clicking on document link.
Actual Result:
File Not found error display.
Same error is displaying when admin is trying to view the document from "Employee Uploaded Document" section or from "Pending Queue" section.

When file is uploaded and downloaded without saving it,it will delete that file from the server.
This is implemented for security purpose to avoid cross user to access uploaded file.
File upload functionality with saving is working fine.
We are working on it and will update you the detailed estimation to implement the change by tomorrow EOD.

I'm not sure I understand. When downloaded, it should still be maintained in the system. They need to be able to refer back to documents. Additionally, they were not able to get to them to download them even once.

We have verified different scenarios to test this fix on LB (wt-stage),
- Upload document by employee and download it before saving and after saving
- Partner/Company Admin>Pending Queue>Verify document>Download
- Partner/Company Admin>>Employee Uploaded document>Download
- Delete and upload the same document again, then download
- Verified above scenarios on different browsers (IE/FF/Chrome)
- Verified above scenarios through self Serve mode.
Above scenarios are working as expected. Testing for this fix is still in progress on Local (wt-stage) environment.
We have tested below scenarios from Recruit module as well:
-Upload and download the resume.
-Upload and send offer letter to candidate, download it by candidate login.
All the mentioned scenarios are working as expected.
We can deploy fix to Stage.

We are done with testing of this fix on Stage environment, executed different scenarios and found they are working as expected. We can deploy the fix to Production.
Now we are not facing this issue with newly uploaded documents, but what about the employees which already had uploaded the documents and facing this issue. Are they need to reupload the documents? Can you share list of such employees? Can you please confirms this before tomorrow's Production upload.

We have uploaded and verified the fix on Production, tested below scenarios and found they are working as expected. Now file not found error is not displaying for newly uploaded documents:
-Upload document by employee and download it before saving and after saving
-Partner/Company Admin>Pending Queue>Verify document>Download
-Partner/Company Admin>>Employee Uploaded document>Download
-Delete and upload the same document again, then download.
-Login as a partner Upload document in a file library, download it by employee login.
-Verified above scenarios on different browsers (IE/FF/Chrome)
-Verified above scenarios through self Serve mode.
Please note this fix is applicable for the documents uploaded after today's production build. Employees previously (before fix upload) facing "File Not Found" error still experience same error, in order to get rid of this error they need to reupload the documents. Please refer below list of such employees. We had shared this type of list earlier as well. In below excel we have merged all the lists which we had shared with you till today. If employees from below list is facing "File Not Found" error while viewing or downloading the uploaded documents, then they need to reupload the document.
