Ashuntee Baker, EID 21298, terminated on 1/2/17. Olga Nozheckina, EID 19798, terminated on 1/2/17.
When I look at the termination of EAP benefits, Ashuntee’s benefits terminated on 1/31/17 and Olga’s benefits terminated on 7/2/17. Per the business rule, EAP benefits terminate 6 months from the termination date so Olga’s termination is correct and Ashuntee’s is not.
Can you explain what happened?
Initial observation: The file they have used to terminate employee is also having salary update. This has terminated the EAP plan twice once with correct 07/02/2017 and then again with 01/31/2017.
I will continue on this ticket again on monday.

Here are details of this issue,
Concern: EAP plan go terminated with wrong date.
Cause:
EAP plan is contingent upon medical A. core plan. This plan have termination rule end of the month. EAP plan is getting terminated twice, one with 6 month waiting period and other with end of the month rule.
Now, the question will be why few employees got 6 month termination date. The answer is, there is no sequence of plan terminations, if medical plan get terminated first and then EPA them employee will get 6 month waiting period.
Correction: This is bad customization. You have to remove contingency or have to align the plan termination rules.
PS: I have observed one more thing, same file is terminating employee as well as updating his salary. This is rare case leading two times enrollment processing with two different dates. Ideally this should not happen.

Hi, Client sent a Term file to test in Stage, and if all looks correct then Probably in Production later.
Before I being testing in Stage. I found out that The past Term file Testing bad files are all wiped out for some reason. Then I realized that I am unable to Import any terms: Error . Import Failure. I tried recreating file and modify file type but still I would either get File type error or Date format error.
I thought to check on Production so I could see the template changes, but I wasn't able to find Term Template- I don't remember deleting term template. I hope I am not loosing my memory. Can you please let me know what are the Import Failure logs are. It will help me figure out on what going on. Attached is the file that needs to test on Stage. Please let me know your Findings. Thanks again for looking into this.

Analysis , Repro and code fix

Please find below 3C's ,
Concern : Import getting failed.
Cause : As we have multiple row flag on Template setting. its means when we set this flag to No all data in a single row and Yes 1 row per enrollment/demographic information. This function was mainly implemented for Column wise data (e.g paycheck data with many no of columns). If we selected No its should consider for row wise but its consider column wise and process the data. hence its getting failed.
Correction : we have provided a code fix and this will gets deployed with next deployment patch.

Few additional points:
1. This issue is for stage only.
2. This will get deployed on our local test environment tomorrow. Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can mark the Multiple rows flag to Yes. (once code fix deployed on stage, you have to make it reverse again.)
3. I have checked the production templates, there is not template found for terms. I have confirmed this from template history (from back end).

Thank you Jaideep Vinchurkar I processed the file, however CSV format was not acceptable. so I changes the file type. Let me know once it is fixed in stage, so I can reverse it. Thanks once again.

Hello Jaideep Vinchurkar,
Is there a way to set up the termination file to look at terminating the EAP benefit first, then look to the other benefits. Since the EAP is contingent on medical we cannot get the EAP termination rules to work correctly.
